Since 1973, the Sonshiners Quartet has been singing about the love of Jesus. The leadership group in 1996 believed that the group required a provision allowing donations to the ministry to be tax deductible. The leadership also developed the business name Sonshiners, Inc. This was believed to be necessary to file as a Not-for-Profit corporation and also to file for tax exemption status. Sonshiners, Inc. was born October 29.1996.
 
For most of the years since it’s inception in 1973, the Sonshiners Quartet has traveled to Churches on a love offering basis only. While there have been many challenging moments, the Lord has always been faithful to meet our needs. We have not been one to ask people for money nor do we stand on stage soliciting funds or make a big production of selling product. We feel through prayer, God will direct those who are financially able to help with our ministry needs. However, we do want friends to understand that our Ministry can grow and increase substantially with proper financial support.

From time to time people send special donations that have been a real blessing in meeting ministry needs. We feel it is important to let those friends know how thankful we are. Those who would like to support the ministry of the Sonshiners Quartet on a monthly basis or with a special one-time donation will now become an official "Foundation Partner". With the official "Foundation Partner" status, you will receive a special gift of appreciation.
 
We want everyone to know that this campaign is to move the Sonshiners Quartet ministry to a full-time ministry! With the rising costs of fuel, insurance, bus maintenance & repair, sound equipment; our offerings and travel allowances have never been enough to cover living expenses. We ask that you prayerfully consider becoming a "Foundation Partner" to help with the cost of salaries and family support. Below you will find suggestions on ways you might help with the financial needs of this ministry.
 
Most importantly, we covet your prayers. Romans 12:12 reads; “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer” His word is faithful and we strive to follow the leading of His Holy Spirit in our Ministry.
